I watched Charlie interview Governor Palin. I personally did not think well of it at all. He seemed to come across arrogantly.
I wondered, did he really care about her answers, or did he just want to impress the boys back at the news desk, so that they might think this morning talk show host, really is a hard hitting news reader.
Mind you, I'm very biased. I look at everything through the eyes of a conservative, and no matter how hard I try to be fair, I'll always wonder if maybe its my own biases that are blinding me to the truth.
So I did some research. I decided that if Charlie's other interviews were consistent with this interview, then it would be a fair means to compare them, and to justify that Charlie really wasn't being the liberal journalist, in bed with the Obama Campaign.
I found a Charlie Gibson interview of Barack and I've posted it below. Look at the 3:22 mark where he asks Barack about the "hubris" of running for President. He asked the same question of Governor Palin. But compare the look on Charlie's face after asking both questions.
Tell me if Charlie isn't getting that tingle up his leg, like Chris Matthews did when he heard Barack speak. Just compare them and tell me if this doesn't show the contempt Gibson has for the Republicans, and that he is in the tank for Obama.
So compare both interviews and tell me what you think.
